Imagine what could happen if a generation of young people took justice issues seriously… let’s help make this a reality.
Let’s make our voices heard and make a stand!
Our new parliament will have been in place for 2 weeks when Tearfund, Open Doors, Christian Aid and Emerging Culture will join together to march from Westminster Central Hall to Trafalgar Square, stopping along the way to do creative action to stand against injustice in our world.
On May 22nd we will be outside Downing Street calling on the Prime Minster, alongside the Tearfund team, to ask the PM to make people in poverty a priority of their new government. Christian Aid will be hosting a treasure island and a huge tug of war outside HM Treasury to highlight the economic injustices in our world. Open Doors will be having a huge celebration in Trafalgar Square, where we will celebrate our freedom to speak up, but then show the red card to people who don’t allow this freedom to our global Christian family. Emerging Culture will be hosting the march and have invited Shane Claiborne and the BBC to join us for the day.
