FIREBRANDS IS THE NAME OF OUR FUSION CONFERENCE THIS YEAR.
BUT FIREBRANDS, FOR US, IS FAR MORE THAN A CONFERENCE, IT'S A CALL. WE SENSE THAT GOD IS CALLING US AS A GENERATION TO BE FIREBRANDS.
So what exactly is a firebrand?
The student mission team are unpacking this question with you in a series of vlogs. This second vlog looks at how Firebrands are rebels with a cause. Firebrands do not accept the current situation as it is, but they fight to see a separate world.
They are revolutionaries and “troublemakers”. They have a vision, a dream if you like, of an alternative world, one in which Jesus’ is established, on earth as it is heaven. They are rebels for the Kingdom cause and stop at nothing that the world they see would come about, and be realised before their eyes.
The call to be a firebrand is a call to rebel.
