Students of the Word

As we career at breakneck speed though the first couple of decades of the 21st century we are overwhelmed with knowledge and information.

When God gave the command to humanity in Genesis 2:17 to live in glorious freedom and avoid the tree of knowledge he knew that we were not designed to ‘see’ good and evil. Humanity incurred a double judgement, a curse for disobedience and the curse of now having to live with our ‘eyes open’. That tree seems in full fruit now we have access to images and information, good and evil within a matter of seconds. We have no way of filtering and processing the vast amounts of knowledge available. No wonder the most ‘advanced’ nations are suffering from deep inner sadness.

However, there is some very good news. The revelation of God through Scripture helps the teachable student to find peace amidst the deafening noise of information. It leads us into a knowledge of God that is much greater than information, it is a heartfelt and intimate relationship. It is this knowledge that we want to encourage today’s students to experience and declare. We focus on the bible in this edition of Fuse as we both celebrate 400years of the KJ version and encourage a new generation to become students of the Word.

The 6000 hard copies are distributed across those churches for free. Fusion are in contact with a further 7200 current students and 3,100 graduates through e-mail where an online copy of fuse with live links is sent.
