Fusion Scotland & Wales

We are very pleased to announce that we have recently appointed two new Fusion team members, Chloe (Fusion Developer Wales) & Ciara (Fusion Developer Scotland). Both Chloe & Ciara will be developing and implementing vision and strategy for Wales & Scotland to help establish a strong church-based student mission movement. Alongside their roles for Fusion both Chloe & Ciara also work as Student Workers for local churches in Swansea & Edinburgh.

Chloe is in her final year at Chichester University where she has been studying Theology. During her time at uni she has passionately & energetically grown a local church student ministry from 6 to 60. She is passionate about helping students to stay on track spiritually while negotiating life at uni. Last year she wore a penguin onesie for a week to fundraise for Student Linkup. She’s famous for winning Burger Kings’ ‘Up-Seller’ of the year award across all UK Burger Kings!

Ciara studied Social Work and graduated from Edinburgh University in 2012. She has since worked for a local church in Edinburgh where she has pioneered Student Ministry. She is passionate about student mission, and the fact that only around 2% of university students in Edinburgh love God. During the last year she’s lived in a shared house with seven students, who together have loved their uni, usually involving plenty of food.

In Scotland we currently have...

...30 Fusion Connection spread across Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh, Stirling, Glasgow & St Andrews. We regularly communicate with 56 Student workers & Church leaders from these churches

In Wales we currently have...

The time & investment of Chloe & Ciara’s roles will significantly increase these stats over the coming months & years.
