A Call to Prayer

“Prayer has to be our first priority, if we are to call more people to follow Christ, and to invite others to share in the story of God’s love for the world. The wonderful news is God is always ready to hear our prayers and to send his Spirit that we may proclaim the good news afresh. I urge every church community and individual to set aside time to pray and to share God’s heart for all his people.” ++Justin Welby

This week the Archbishops of Canterbury and York put a call out to the Church to pray for those who have not yet encountered the love of God. What a great lead to take at Pentecost! You can hear the short call to prayer and also delve into the resources section where there is a prayer guide for students.

For the first time in Fusion’s history we are holding a national gathering to pray for students. It takes place soon after Pentecost on Wednesday June 18th 2014 and is in partnership with 24-7 Prayer and Prayerstorm. This is our call to pray for the student world. We anticipate a day of worship, creative and heartfelt prayer, prophetic encouragement and ministry. Find out more. Let us know you are coming here.

The climate is changing and our prayers make the difference, we would love you to join us, but if you can’t please pray with us.
