Hey students and welcome to our page! New Life Church has a passion and desire to serve God in the community to which he has called us.

As part of our church life, we have shared lunches, discussion evenings, and socials for our young adults. In the past, we have run children and youth groups as well as parents and toddlers groups and Messy Church. We also have hosted one-off community events as a church, as well as partnering with other churches and organisations in city-wide events. In this time of recovery in a post-pandemic world, we are prayerfully looking to restart some of these community groups as the Lord leads us.

We believe that God is calling us to ‘encounter His presence, equip the saints and evangelise the lost’, and currently we are developing strategies to facilitate this vision, believing that everyone has a gifting and a part to play.

The challenges of recent times have reminded us all afresh how incredibly important it is to stay connected, and to encourage one another in our lives and faith walks! Therefore, we have taken full advantage of the wonders of online technology and in-person meetings to provide activities and content to help people grow in their faith. Our beach trip socials and crazy golf nights tend to be popular highlights for our young adults!

As a church, we would like you to know that we would want to support you as best as we can during your studies here in Winchester. We desire to see you grow in your own relationship with God and have the confidence to share it with those around you. We love the energy and passion that students bring to churches and would love to meet you at New Life Church!

What do we do for students?

We aim to support the University Christian Union in its mission on campus where possible.

We really believe in family. As such, we love to include our Students in our church life groups so they can be planted in our church community full of diverse, interesting and friendly people.

We are able to offer mentoring for those who wish to meet with a more mature Christian with the purpose of growing in their understanding of Scripture and the Christian faith.

Tuesday night prayer meetings fortnightly from 7.30PM
We also have fortnightly life groups and meetups for the men, women, and young adults of the church every 4-8 weeks.
