This is Pete* – he has a mum and a dad who love him, he isn’t poor and he eats at least 3 meals a day. He has plenty of clean water to drink and wash with when he feels like it. He can read and write, in fact he is at university. You could say he has everything he needs and more to exist. On the surface seeing a picture of him and reading his story doesn’t stir your emotions.

After the success of last year’s conference, Soul Survivor are again hosting ‘Naturally Supernatural’ at the end of February.

The University Year has certain key times of stress like Freshers’ Week, but also Exam Time. Many courses have some continuous assessment, which can add to the pressure students feel they are under, but even so things tend to come to a head at the end of each semester – in the New Year and just after Easter. Not even the promise of long summer breaks can help, as this is also stressful for some people!
