There are over 2 million students in the UK and less than 2% follow Jesus. The walls of student mission need rebuilding. Local churches are the answer to revealing Jesus to this generation. Starting in October 2009, over 50 local churches organised loveyouruni tour events in 20 locations around the UK. Bringing together churches from across university towns for training, storytelling and celebration these gatherings brought inspiration, equipping and encouragement to over 1000 Christian students to catalyse a revolution of Jesus love in our universities. The loveyouruni tour is a national vision with a local approach. Each date is organised and delivered by the local churches and uniquely designed to meet the needs and vision in that city. It’s all starting again in 2010 where we aiming to partner with even more local churches to bring an event that will catalyse ongoing mission to reach the millions of students who have yet to encounter or respond to Jesus love.
