[our mission statement]

Our dream is to see Christ known, loved and worshipped by the least evangelised peoples of the world. WEC International is a family of some 1,800 workers from over 50 nationalities, serving among 90 of the least reached people groups. As well as reaching people and planting churches, we are committed to inspiring, mobilising and equipping the whole church for cross-cultural mission.

WEC Trek

WEC Trek is our short-term missions programme for those 18 and over. WEC Trek could be for you, if you…

  • Want to learn how to have God’s mission at the core of your life
  • Are interested in learning about least-reached peoples
  • Are thinking about cross-cultural ministry yourself
  • Want to utilise your professional skills for a specified period

Our Trek programme is flexible, enabling you to go out in a group, or individually joining up with our long-termers already there. Trek staff always seek to find the best fit between people and placement. For further infomation pelase click here.

Music and the arts

Use your musical and performance skills in creative outreach across cultures.  Resonance is a short-term programme for trained/skilled musicians and performing artists with a passion for missions. For further informaion please click here.

Cross-cultural training

WEC offers professional cross-cultural training, combining Bible and mission studies with spiritual and practical development, at a choice of 6 centres: in the Netherlands, Brazil, Mexico, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

PROGO mission internship

PROGO is a unique one-year accredited mission internship programme, packed full of travel and cross-cultural experiences, empowering you to use and develop your communication and leadership skills, to inspire your generation to make Jesus known throughout the world. With your gifts, passion, skills and personality, you've got a lot to teach us about connecting with your peers. Based near Heathrow at WEC's multi-cultural hub, with visits to various WEC ministries and training centres elsewhere.
