Our Mission

For more than 60 years Christian Aid, driven by the gospel of good news to the poor, has worked to expose the scandal of poverty, root it out from the world, and change the systems that favour the rich and powerful over the poor and marginalised. We work in over 50 countries through local organisations on the ground, and help people where the need is greatest, regardless of their race or religion.

Our Message to Students

Did you know that at least $160 billion is lost every year to the world's poorest countries because of multinationals wriggling out of paying tax? That's enough to save the lives of 350,000 children aged five or under every year. Tax dodging costs lives and that's why it's one of the issues that Christian Aid campaigns on.
