A couple of hours?

Why not join in with what God is doing for a couple of hours?

Club Mission:

Going into your local club, helping people who are feeling unwell, getting people home safe, and being there to chat and pray with people when they need you.

Bottle Drop:

Standing outside clubs or university halls with 100’s of bottles of water giving them out for FREE. Maybe 100’s of sweets too. You get to meet so many people, and God opens so many conversations.

Treasure Hunting:

Going into town and asking God to give you pictures and words for people you’ve never met, sharing those pictures and words with particular people and praying for them.

Knockin’ and Prayin’:

Knocking on doors in your neighbourhood, student accommodation or even whilst on holiday and asking if you can pray for the occupants in any way.

These are just 4 things which you can do to join in with what God is doing in every single person’s life. Whilst there are many more, these are a few which I’ve had a privilege of getting to do in the last month.

In John 5, Jesus gets asked the question of why he healed somebody on the Sabbath. He answers “My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working”.

The father is always working in people’s lives. It’s easy to think that God only works when we ourselves decide to work, but God has a far bigger plan than we can ever imagine. When we step out onto campus, the clubs or the workplace looking to extend the kingdom, we need to know that God has already been working in all of the individuals’ lives that we will speak to. He has loved them since before they were born, and knows everything about them. My father is always at his work, and the exciting thing is, he invites us to get to play.

What could you do for a couple of hours that will influence many lives which God is already influencing? How can you join in and get to play with your heavenly father?
